In 1972, with the undying support of the local government, the Sto. Angel Annex started its operation for the first year and second year levels under the supervision and administration of their well-respected principal, Mr. Roberto G. Viray. Having envisioned of helping those less fortunate individuals to finish high school and to receive a diploma, these students continued to the next two levels (third year and fourth year) at SPCNHS main. Some of the pioneers of its first year of operation were Mrs. Viray, Mrs. Eva Cusi, Mrs. Rosario Pullo, Mr. Amado Oca and Mrs. Gomez/Aveño. Few years had passed, salary of teachers due to lack of funds from the local government became a problem. As a result, the operation was ceased in 1974.
