HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL
As an educational institution, Del Remedio National High School is committed to the total development of an individual ANNEX IV. This was donated by homeowners of Patria Village under the leadership of former Barangay Chairman Exequiel Amante. The shool was suggested and proposed by Teofilo Briones, a draftsman who made a plan and layout that time to build a school for the residents living near Del Remedio which was the vision of Mayor Vicente Vic Amante in his service to the youth.
In 2003, a covered court was constructed through the help of former Congressman Danton Q. Bueser, Mr. Darius Ofrin and the PTCA headed by Mrs. Lina De Mesa.
San Pablo City National High School Del Remedio Annex was renamed Del Remedio National High School in the year 2004 based on Resolution No. 2003 288 dated November 10, 2003 was unanimously approved by the Sangguniang Panlunsod, San Pablo City.
Mr. Ely P. Flores, Secondary School Head Teacher III was designated on September 27, 2004 as Teacher In Charge for Del Remedio National High School. Aside from his function as Teacher III in Social Studies, he was also given the authority to coordinate all the activities of Del Remedio National High School and decide on matters that needed attention and immediate action. He worked on all the requirements for the separation of Del Remedio National High School with the assistance of Mrs. Marilou D. Bicomong Secondary School Principal II. Requirements were submitted to the DepEd Regional Office Approval.
At present, Del Remedio National High School is an independent school that continuously give the youth of BArangay Del Remedio and the nearby barangay an integrated and upgraded system of education under the leadership and management of its newly Secondary Teacher in Charge in the person of Miss Anicia R. Ciabal.
The present teacher in charge was designated on July 4, 2006. Her functions as authority of the school include that of a school director, coordinator, councilor and authority on school discipline. In addition, Ms. Ciabal handles English classes to fourth year level.
The upgraded education offered and served to the youth of Del Remedio and nearby Barangays in patterned after the demands of the present and future society, relevant to the goals of the National government under the dynamic leadership of Dr. ESTER C. LOZADA Schools Division Superintendent and her equally dynamic Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Dr. MERCILITA PORMENTILLA.
