PDFMNHS celebrates Buwan ng Wika

This year’s theme in celebrating Buwan ng Wika is “Wika mo, Wika ng Pilipino, Wika ng mundo, mahalaga.” Teachers as well as the Filipino club officers and members helped in preparing for the said event. It is a month-long celebration.

The program started last August 4, 2008, and the first contest is “Pagsulat ng Sanaysay.” There were 16 contestants. Ms. Rizza Mae Tamaca-III-A, tops the said contest.Camille Escano-III-B, 2nd place, and Ellaine Fantilanan-III-A, 3rd place.

In “Paligsawit” which is held last August 8, 2008, 16 contestants competed. Every year level and section had two participants. Ruth Avila-II-A, got the 3rd place, Kimberly Ramos-III-B, and Mary Rose Clarito-III-C are the 2nd placers. Kristine Regullano-III-C, got the 1st place.

August 15, 2008, the 3rd contest took place, the “Sabayang Pagbigkas”. III-A wins the 1st place. Ideza Carmela Magpantay-III-A, won in “Isahang Pagtula” Last August 29, In “katutubong Sayaw”, all year levels participated but only III-A bags 1st place.

The highlight of the program, “Lakan at Lakambini” happened last August 29, 2008. All year levels have their representatives. All prepared their regional and national costume.

Sarah Jane Caga-II-A and John Carlo Anonuevo-III-B, are the best in regional and national costume. At the end of the program, Sarah Jane Caga-II-A, and Neilvien Lacen-III-C are the new “Lakan at Lakambini”. Rizza Mae Tamaca and Carl Louie Comia, last year’s “Lakan at Lakambini” awarded the said winners.
