MESSAGE FROM THE MAYOR
Warm greetings from the Municipality of Rizal
I am inviting you with pride and sincerity to visit our small but peaceful and safe town, which is noted for home made candies and food products with the biggest spinning top in the world and famous for Kalatong festival.
As you enter Rizal, you'll notice than there is no existing antique house or any old architectural structures because it was burned by the Japanese army during World War 2. The only remaining historical treasure is the guerilla's headquarters called "PARANG" where the wife, Virginia Llamas Romulo and 2 sons of the late Carlos P. Romulo were hidden and later picked up by a plane to b brought to the place where the late secretary Romulo was. At the same landing field, foods, arms and ammunitions were dropped by the Americans in February 1945.
The refreshing views of the peak called "TILUS" of the Mt. Cristobal is the favorite site of the mountain climbers and its hilly side is peaceful, experiencing the fresh air thrill and exciting adventure conducive for jogging and other physical activities. You'll be amazed because the cell phone signal is excellent even at the peak of the trail and the presence of the solar energy to provide light to 30 house holds of the place.
The aesthetic beauty of "NALAGALAS FALLS" in Brgy. Tala can be fully viewed while enjoying the wonders of Calibato Lake.
So, come, enjoy explore and feel the natural beauty of Rizal, Laguna and you?ll be guided by our patron St. Michael the Archangel.
Rizal Iangat Uunlad!!!
